Here's a message posted elsewhere by the CY couple...

"... Dear friends

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and encouragement in our struggle for freedom of expression for flying our Cypriot flag in our divided island.

We are again going to court tomorrow in Famagusta at 2pm.

We are not sure of what the outcome will be, we are uncertain as to whether we shall be with our family or where our fate will take us.

Whatever the outcome, we are overwhelmed by all your kindness and shows of humanity.

People have been asking us what they can do to help….all that we ask is that if you able to attend and support us tomorrow, so we show our numbers in unity, please do so.

We will be at the Famagusta court and our trial begins at 2pm.

If for whatever reason you are unable to come to the court but still want to show support, then please go to your nearest checkpoint and if you can, take our Cyprus flag with you at the same time as the trial, 2pm, and fly it proudly in support of our struggle. For anybody coming to the court please do not bring any flags with you, we will have one which will represent all of us.

Depending on the outcome at the trial tomorrow, there will also be another event at 7pm at Ledra Palace for support in our fight for our right to fly our flag. If we are able to attend - as we said before - we are totally uncertain of what will happen at the trial, we will hope to meet some of you there.

Please let us not make this a political circus, we ask that no party flags are raised, just the one flag that we are fighting for, the Cyprus flag.

Either way, we want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all who have been following our case and sent messages, phone calls etc, each one of you has given us the strength to carry on with our heads held high.

Once again we thank you, let us unite our country for peace.

you are so stupid. these people will end up in prison because of people like you. she announced the other day. if you are visiting the court on the day of the hearing please do not bring any flags. and here you are posting her in flags. i am sure the prosecutor will soften his stance once he sees your post. you stupid stupid stupid charlui.

...they will end up in prison anyway, since this "court" is not for Justice, "it" will get its way in any case.
