How lucky is Erdogan? He met Australia's PM today before the PM went in to more important things like spending time with Australian sailors on HMAS ANZAC.

No I didn't say that. I think that was Kikapu.

NZ Prime Minister is there as well and Cameron will also be attending as well as France's President.

HMAS will set sail for Crete day after tomorrow.

...let's hope that Akinci has already shown the good sense by meeting, or contacting them already, and if not he should consider what it means to have this case in his administration's court, before there is the possibility of another, "delay", in May. Indeed, i will be watching, and it will say a lot about what change is taking place politically, because if it is more of the same, quite frankly, Cypriots don't need more of that.

i wish it was as easy as that.

first he may have to change the public prosecutor and i am not so sure the president has such power.
second i have no doubt erdogan will be out for blood and may delay the changes for months if not years.

everybody is being unfair asking for what ever change comes to mind. some want this stopped others want the flags removed. things do not change that easy. look at how long it has taken to get to this point. i remember that times when youngsters would not dare talk politics openly for fear of discrimination on the job front.

on the other hand how would have things panned out if the embargoes were removed decades ago and there was no need for financial aid from terggy. how short sighted has roc been and still is being to this day. i have a funny feeling anastasiades is doing a christofias. in which case we shall end up very disappointed.
