I can understand teaching Greek and Turkish but how do you teach the Cypriot dialect?....for instance how does one translate "amemavroshilogyreuke"...a phrase often used by Cypriots

That's really interesting because Hellenistic Greek (which the Cypriot dialect resembles hugely) was written without any spaces between the words!

...indeed, writing this way adds a whole new meaning to reading between the lines, and double meanings, where a line of letters can be divided in more than one way.

But those don't use the Greek alphabet, do they? That's an extraneous comparison because the form of the languages is completely different. You might as well mention hieroglyphics.
