Kurupetos,
If you look hard enough you will find these incidents everywhere. However, in Greece and Cyprus, the hooligans have gone to a new level. They destroy stadiums and infrastructure, burn things down, overturn people's cars, assault fans verbally and physically, and more. It also occurs week in week out. If there are games between Apoel, Omonia, Anorthosis, Apollon or AEL anything is possible.
Greek and Cypriot fans are amongst the worst now and that is because the Cyprus FA, and Police are not doing enough. The clubs too need to control their fans.
Now if nothing is done, there will be only 500 fans attending games because why would a family attend a battlefield? That will be destructive to Cypriot Football.
