Doing well .... :D

Turkey doing even better, which I am sure you are equally please with.

We are very pleased. Give Erdogan a few more more years and he will give you the New new Lira ;)

A five-year low for the Turkish lira makes resorts like Marmaris a hot tip for 2014 as holidaymakers will pay 19 per cent less

Six out of a list of ten?

I'm surprised the OP started this thread, given it was a British post office proclaiming this... but if it suits then I guess it's okay...

The guardian article was done by the CTO wasn't it?

Glad you can finally read (even though it's only selective). Yes, I did say it was featured as opposed to reported and the information is there for all to see. Cyprus is not normally as prodigious as other countries in advertising - but then, it does have limited resources especially with nearly half being abused by Turks.

Greek Island girl! No rude intentions here, and please do not feel "abused", but as someone who stopped from being a regular contributor to this forum a very long time ago, I always wandered:
Are you married and if so do you have any children? Of course you need not answer and I hope no offence taken. :D

Behave Sotos! Greece and Cyprus economies are not anything to sing and dance about either - in fact they are few hundred phantoms deeper in shite than "Asian" Turkey

With what confidence to you assert that statement? Greece and Cyprus have a long way to go before the personal economies of individuals are as deprived as those of the average Turk.

(And the basis of some of your evaluations on women, set your country back into the dark ages. ... but of course, there was no "Turkey" then. )

As an observation whether or not Turkey is GEOGRAPHICALLY/GEOLOGICALLY in Continenal Europe and Sarkozy comments it is not, it raises the question about Cyprus. Culturally arguably yes, but having admitted one country which is not a part of the European geological structure, but more Asian, one cannot then exclude Turkey simply on the grounds it is not a part of that landmass.

There are better reasons, such as the continued illegal occupation of Cyprus, their human rights record, etc, and lack of cultural affinity.
