Eroglu is an - "Obstacle to Peace"

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I am amazed at how worked up you can all get over this 'news' story (except for Oceanside50 who hit the nail on the head)

Here we have one side of the Cyprus negotiations blaming the other's intransigence for a lack of progress, having previously committed to 'avoid blame games or other negative public comments on the negotiations.'

So basically business as usual.

Bill,Bill. You try and present this 'news' as if it is evidence of something, yet anyone with a modicum of intelligence and the ability to see anything other than their own propaganda can clearly see that all it is evidence of is that it is 'business as usual' in the latest round of negotiations. Commitments made to not play the blame game immediately follow by playing the blame game. Your side, my side - it's all the same old BS as ever. You just, in your own tiny insignificant way, show your desire to perpetuate the BS.

Here's a simple guide for you Erol, to help you identify the Stumbling Block...

Which 2 of the following 3 do you think have signed up and signed up with sincerity to the Joint Declaration...
Mavroyannis
Pres A
Eroglu

???

OK Erol, time's up, but here's some help... It would be far more constructive for you to go and take up the time-wasting BS with The Current Situation Is The Solution Eroglu (and indeed with his new mate Donktosh Jnr.)

Oh Billy boy. Look I know how for you it is all very simple and that for you there is only one reality, which is your side is always in the right and ours always in the wrong. I understand that this is the only way you can see the world around you. But even you have to realise that the rest of the world is not quite so simple minded ? Then again maybe not.

74 Denktash and Clerides agree a deal, Makarios says no - Our fault.

Annan plan both sides agree a timetable and that third party neutrals will agree any unresolved issues. Denktash tells us to vote no and we overwhelming vote yes. Tassos Plonkerdopolus weeps on TV and tells you to vote no and you do. - Our fault.

We vote out Denktash and UBP and install in power the 'opposition' CTP and years of talks and nothing - Our fault.

Prick A and Mayonaise delay even starting the talks for months and months and months insisting on a 'joint declaration' that contains in it '7. The sides will seek to create a positive atmosphere to ensure the talks succeed. They commit to avoid blame games or other negative public comments on the negotiations. They also commit to efforts to implement confidence building measures that will provide dynamic impetus to the prospect for a united Cyprus.' Mayonaise then publically plays the 'blame game' and the Famagusta Gazette calls such 'courageous' - Our fault.

I understand you can only think one way, see one way and that evidence and reality is meaningless to you. But surely even you have to see that non GC diplomats and politicians, serious ones not like our mickey mouse excuses for such, know that things are not quite as plain and simple as your simple minded perspective would suggest. Serious politicians like those in the EU who talked about feeling betrayed by the RoC in regards to the EU accession of the RoC and how they handled the Annan plan.

Do not think for one minute that I think 'our' politicians and leaders are any better than yours. I do not. I think they are both as bad and useless as each other and THAT is the difference between us. I can see and accept that we are part of the problem. All you can see is you are always right and we are always wrong. One of us is a dickhead and I personally do not think its me. I know what you think but then that is not hard is it ?
