Stick to the facts. Not your fantasies. Turkey has virtually no say over the exploration and extraction of Cypriot gas. You only have to look at how ineffective Turkish threats have been so far. No major company would invest millions in Cypriot exploration unless Turkey has been told to lay off. That is the reality. Nobody backs Turkey's alleged 'rights' to gas in the East Med. Because it has none.

When is this gas going to go to market? 4 years at best...we will talk again as you see how things unfold that gas will find its way to Turkey the sharks have already decided they just forgot to tell you minnows.

How will Cypriot gas find its way to Turkey without our permission? Please explain. Do you think some magic spaceship is going to take it there?

You mean the memo that told Turkey that if it wants a share of gas in the East Med it needs to end its occupation of Cyprus?

We know all about that memo. We wrote it!

Demon if thats the price then they will pay it, but its out of your hands the big guys deal the cards, you just take the crumbs. The GCs still dont understand that they are not a player they are played on the international stage.

VP when theY say for Turkey to "give up"cyprus thisis not necasseraly bad for the TC.Most parties and leaderships are committed to a bbf for the last 35 years.TC will get a federation in a solution they will not go to enclaves like they did in the 1960s.However the federation will need to be a federation that will be able to fuction and exist in the EU.There can be some derogations over a transitional period but those will only for a small period of time. The gurantors rights im afraid are outdated and will either need to be heavily revised or completley abolished. There will be no bvirgin birth just a restructering of the ROC OF 1960 TO the new agrement.

By behaving yourselves and being good democrats. You might also consider urging Turkey to return all the GCs property and land they currently occupy. That would help you a lot. Otherwise you're right. You're going to need to be protected from the vengeance and resentment of the majority population who won’t take kindly to seeing their property handed over to TC looters and Turkish settlers.

A fair solution is the best guarantee for Turkish Cypriots.
