Its the EUs fault and now their problem because they saw the picture a divided island yet still proceeded now they can not claim to be impartial, its ridiculous.
You forget that the whole island of Cyprus has been accepted into the EU as one country and not as a divided island, because they do not see Cyprus as divided by the will of the people, but instead, divided through illegal occupation by Turkey in 1974. Under the circumstances, EU laws, partial or impartial, will apply to ALL citizens of Cyprus, since they are also citizens of the EU, including the TCs. The TCs have no choice but to accept the EU laws since the north state will not be outside the EU laws in a Federation settlement. Hoping for an apartheid solution without EU laws is going to be futile, just as it was in 2004 with the Annan Plan.
Anyway, it’s no point discussing all this at this point until all sides have agreed on all the issues for a settlement, not unless you want to get an ulcer, in which case, leave me out of it.
