Some (tiny) of what he says is OK, but it does not address any of the issues that concern the GC's.
He thinks that the united Cyprus market will grow by 35% (which is feasible if you just add the trade of the north and I got the impression that he meant lifting the embargoes). He practically speaks about keeping things the same where the GC's will be compensated for loss of property by coming back and investing in Cyprus and I got the impression that he meant in the north.
I don't think there is much substance in it.

The so called "president of Cyprus" kept going on about 'his people', at the LSE and how he has to listen to them but never once mentioned the TC needs. I suppose it can only mean that each has to only speak for themselves.
You can only find his speech on the net and not the questions. It was amazing! out of the hand full of TCs in the audience, the speaker managed to pick four of us they decided it was not tranmitable

You are concentrating on the finger again What he is doing is trying to convey the message that it is all over, via the big boys..........they are the heavenly glory

Ok, I see what you are saying. So in this metaphor, could it also be said that the finger is his words and the heavenly glory is all the stuff that revolves around what he does not say. In other words, the intent and meaning behind his words?

No! That part is simply as it seems. I am not a Talat man but I know he speaks from the heart.
