Oh and I really hope they find the Orange Box as soon as possible because it will put to rest all the stupid claims which I am sure is torturing the mental state of members of the passenger's and crew's families.

If they can detect 5 m long semi submerged debris in the middle of the Southern Ocean then how on earth can a B777 be hidden from these Satellites?

I believe the most likely scenario is that MH370 was lost by a terrorist event on board that aircraft. Motive and who is responsible is unclear.

But it was outrages in my opinion when the media smeared the Captain calling him a political animal. So he was interested in politics. So what? Half the members on CF are interested in politics. Does that make us "political animals"? Absolutely deplorable. Then they smeared the First Officer saying he would let some pretty ladies into the cockpit. I agree that should not have been done but let's get real please. A young pilot in MH was just trying to get his rocks off. His Captain should have pulled him in line.

I saw a YouTube the Captain made about his wonderful simulator/procedure trainer. He would have invested a lot of time and money in that thing. It would be more apt to describe the Captain of MH as an Aviation Animal/nut rather than a political animal. This guy spent a great deal of time practicing his NDB, VOR, ILS approaches and his Standard Instrument Departures and Standard Arrivals. That is not your average toy but a great tool to practice some Instrument Flying and it was an approved simulator which means he could log the time within his Synthetic Trainer Hours section of his log book. The YouTube was more a tutorial on how to set up, configure and use such an elaborate simulator which would cost something in the order of 50,000 bucks or more. Certainly not a toy and I know a few guys with similar set ups all Pilots that have to spend their money somewhere and at the same time keep their skills honed for the next 6 monthly company simulator sesh from hell which really do put those skills to the test whilst under the microscope of some Check Captains. Normal Flying is not enough to prepare you for these sessions. There are 118 emergency procedures on the B777 and there are what is called "Vital Actions" which are committed to memory. The remainder just comes up on the EFIS as a check list and then the manuals for any troubleshooting!

May the poor pilots RIP! They are now in Pilot Heaven, which is a wonderland of all sorts of toys and equipment. See ya there one day bro because I want to have a chat with ya in the crew room! :D

...crazy as it seems, i just had a flash, talking about conspiracy schemes:

one can blame Erdogan for this mess, with his planning to skip out of Turkey if he loses the election; isn't it Malaysia that has given him safe haven?

what with all the confusion, i'll dare to guess that it was not batteries but gold, in the hold of this ship.

...shameful to joke, with such sadness (i know); for the relatives of the missing, my hopes are with yours' in this madness.

I think by now I have reached my own conclusions.
The plane has been shot down by the Americans while approaching the Diego Garcia military base.
The Americans themselves are trying to blur the issue.

Where do I base my opinion? Simply because it is absolutely impossible for a plane to fly for whole 7 hours without the American NSA systems having tracked it second by second. As it approached the base, military jets lifted up to check it out. It did not respond to their calls. SHOT IT DOWN. Case over.

Yeap....they are collecting the pieces as we speak and probably dumping them somewhere else...Note also how the search is being focused on the Eastern part of the Indian Ocean a clear 10,000 miles away from Diego Garcia

MH370: Investigators focus probe on 'deliberate act' by pilots

Authorities investigating the disappearance of Flight MH370 have narrowed their probe to the aircraft's two pilots following an extensive analysis of data from the plane.

Senior sources involved in the investigation told The Telegraph that they remained certain the disappearance of the Boeing 777 was as a result of a "deliberate act" by a "person or persons on board".

Two weeks after the plane vanished, investigators have largely ruled out the possibility that the Malaysia Airlines flight might have suffered a fire that knocked out all communication systems and killed the pilots. The plane would then have had to fly on autopilot until it ran out of fuel and before any Mayday message could be sent.

But they are doubtful whether a passenger could have seized control of the aircraft, after a study of transcripts between air traffic control and the co-pilot suggested a would-be hijacker would have had only a two-minute window of opportunity.

That leaves inquiries increasingly focused on the two pilots - Captain Zaharie Shah Ahmed, 53, and his co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid, 27.

No it is not impossible at all and you should know better.

As I told you before, having the capability does not mean anyone was watching or paying any attention. And furthermore, the aircraft would not be shot down for approaching Diego Garcia. In fact Diego Garcia can be used as an Alternate by Airliners if they need it.

At least half the article has some common sense! The bit about fire, electrical or catastrophic failure is true.

The rest about the Pilots is just BS. I mean WTF
