Ok here’s how the signal should be heard when modified to become audible to the human ear. Sharp and irritating. The pitch is 10ms exact as per manufacturer’s specs. The audible pitch duration of the signal that the Australians published is at least 20 times as much, but this doesn’t mean anything given the huge amount of noise it contains.

I had the good fortune to see a lot of the coverage from CNN - which I thought was absolutely superb.

They had an analyst from the FBI, FAA and the Air Transport Safety Board say that other noises are always detected by Sonar and that software is used to filter out different frequencies. They basically cancel out all other contaminating noises to be left with the specific frequency range they are looking for in this case 3.5 Khz.

You are ignored! dON'T REPLY TO MY MESSAGES

Of course you would ignore pure logic because the only thing you're good at are stupid conspiracy theories.

I am trying to get you to see reason. You are just posting crap!

You're just an immature silly bugger!

NURC-UNCW has a variety of acoustic pinger beacons available for use. Helle
27XX pingers are available in 27 or 37 kHz frequencies for deployment of equipment to 6,000 feet seawater and have a battery life of one month.

Yes indeed. The area is a popular dive spot too!

As I told you before, I bet you're stupid enough to think it's a popular dive spot.

Here is what I think! They know that the signals are from the Black Box and they are trying to reduce the Search Area which is confirmed at 600 sq kms. Unconfirmed reports that it is 4 sq kms.

I have been monitoring the movements of HMS Echo. It has not moved at all.

The fiasco got into politics now

Mr Houston’s statement, released by the Joint Agency Coordination Centre, said signals detected by a RAAF AP-3c Orion aircraft were “not related” to a black box.

Mass confusion ensued as many thought Mr Houston was contradicting the Prime Minister.

It was made worse when a spokeswoman for the Joint Agency Coordination Centre, which is running the search, confirmed Mr Houston’s remarks that there had been “no major breakthrough”.

Who cares if you ignore me or not.

Here is the thing. I know others do not ignore my posts in this thread so whenever you have something stupid to say, which is quite often in this thread, then I will NOT IGNORE IT!
