It ain't bloody rocket science mate!

It crashed, somewhere near where they are looking for it in my opinion. I believe it is somewhere in the 700 sq kms around the 4 detections.

Apparently, the USA knows.

The most revealing report so far: makes for a very interesting read ...

Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the former Malaysian prime minister, said the current search off the coast of western Australia is a waste of time and money.

"The plane is somewhere, maybe without MAS [Malaysia Airlines] markings," he said. "It is a waste of time and money to look for debris or oil slick or to listen for pings from the black box."

Dr Mahathir suggested the CIA had knowledge of the Boeing 777's disappearance but was not sharing it with Malaysia. He claimed that government agencies, along with Boeing, had the ability to remotely take control of commercial airliners.

"For some reason, the media will not print anything that involves Boeing or the CIA," he said.

Mahathir has lost the plot. He actually wanted to declare war against Australia at one stage.

Of course, he fails to ask WHY! He also fails to explain what the CIA would have done with the passengers! Did they kill all of them? Do you think the CIA would do this? What do they have to gain from this and how is that assisting with US National Security? Do you know that Malaysia is quite a prominent ally?

The only thing that might be accurate is the possibility that US and or Australia know something which they are unwilling to share such as some intelligence which takes them to the current search area. Information from JORN for instance.

And no, Boeing and CIA do not have the ability to remotely take control of airliners! Stupid!!

And finally, what all rational beings came to suspect was the case ....

Relatives of the passengers of Malaysia Airlines MH370 have been dealt a fresh blow with news that pings heard in waters off the Australian coast are thought to be unrelated to the missing plane.

The JACC never made such a claim. The search around the pings still continues.

The JACC only announced that the data set will not be released at this stage in an effort to avoid false hope that MH370 will be found.

Furthermore, I don't understand why you believe there are voices of reason beyond the JACC and IIT which includes Rolls Royce, Boeing and the Transport Safety Authorities of Malaysia, US, UK and Australia.

The Yahoo story has numerous factual errors. The pings were detected by the ADF, and not the US. If they can't get basic information correct, then you got to wonder about their reason!

The Malaysian Authorities are working with Inmarsat to release the data in presentable manner.

Well, that's because the pings came from a moving source, such as a British Submarine for example!

Perhaps they didn't need to run the Aussie gauntlet. Perhaps the Aussies were also in it.
