The ocean floor is mostly unexplored. There is more known about the moon that at the depths of the world's oceans. Who knows what they can find down there. If anything they can learn a bit more about the sea bed in the Indian Ocean. I am sure many scientists would be very keen to get their hands on the data about the topography down there.
