Τηγανίτες (Tiyanides) - mum used to make them with flour and water, fry spoonfuls, and then soak them in honey (or syrup). Just right for νηστεία ...

someone should write Ben&Jerry's, after ice cream made from women's breast milk, milk from donkey's may make a tasty alternative treat.

Yes quite... instead of making sacrifices for Lent, to reflect the Passion of our Lord, the shallower of the believers are looking for self-indulgent workarounds like honey, breast milk and ice-cream...!!! Kyriallaison. Lord have mercy.

good point file...the shallower of the believers should also restrain themselves from the comforts and indulgence of vanity, by not telling us they are fasting...that part was probably not in the bible
