Cyber bulling... counter measures!

Postby georgios100 » Mon Mar 03, 2014 4:11 pm

Currently, the only solution to cyber bullies is defensive (parental controls, block bully IP, report bully to police/school principal etc).

Defense is not working very well. I propose counter measures such as tracing the bullie's IP or Facebook account and send him a nasty
.exe file that would renter his computer useless.

This could be done with the proper software to be used as a launch pad. The software would automatically trace the bully IP and
forward a .bat file compressed as an innocent link... when extracted it would run in the background and get into the start-up.
During the next restart, the bullie's computer will be destroyed.

Perhaps... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiHHkN03Ix0
...but much more sophisticated.

My definition of “Cyber bulling”:

The assumption that an online “adversary” is more annoying to you than you are to them, and that you have lost the annoyance battle to the point where you are now the “victim” and in need of justice to win the annoyance war!

Nobody dares to cyber bully me my friend..

Actually, I was in Larnaca this past month. I had complaints by some school girls 10-14 years old about them getting bullied by
classmates (boys). She asked me if I could make a virus and send it to him for revenge. Apparently, this is common in Cyprus.
There is an undeclared cyber war going on...

I told her this is illegal but she insisted! I could easily make a virus (loop) or shutdown other computers at will.
But the idea is, to setup a website and sell downloads containing these "counter measures".

In other words... make money!

The problem is getting it there and executing it without their consent.

But anyway, why don't you write something useful and maybe make some money from it and forget the 14 year olds?

I already have 4 patents pending on renewable energy products.
Working on another one for the golf grip.

Seriously, I believe there is a gap for this kind of software. It's the kids 10-14 years old that cannot face the bullies (don't know how write the software).
The virus could be compressed into WinRar and run when extracted (within WinRar). The file can be uploaded and the link send to the bully. The file can be named "friendly" like = Love calculator =

GR, you are good with computers... not sure about your skills RE: .bat scripts.
We could work together...

Vigilante reactions are worse than any crime. Call the police if you suspect a real problem. Picking on the wrong person is really bad.
