I fully agree with you. It's nonsense to equate Russia with Turkey's actions. It's as stupid as the Brits now trying to suggest Crimea is to Russia what the Falklands is to Britain because they are trying to find a way to accept the situation without losing face and gain some propagandist support for their possession of the Falklands. Either way, such comparisons are a waste of time as every situation is unique ... and none more so than Cyprus.

But now our bill c. is in the happy position of being in full agreement with Turkey - something to which he seems to have been gravitating towards for a while ...

...either way it will be a very hot summer, what with more elections this August. The flag, the Cypriot Flag may play a role in the north. knowing how "Turks" take flags so seriously, i hope that no one gets killed, quite frankly. and, i hope if it comes to that again, this time "they" won't be able to divide us by whether we are Greek (not Turkish), or Turkish.
