How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby boulio » Wed Feb 26, 2014 4:28 pm

The GC and TC Negotiators will be in Ankara and Athens Tomorrow. What if anything of substance do you think they will talk about?

From the gc to the turks-troops,gurantees,intervention rights ,EEZ Violations

From the TC to the Greek side-????????

Also Ozeraiy in todays phileleftheros claims that his bag is full of "suprises"that he is going to athens with and we will find out tomorrow about them what can this be?

It will all be be very cordial but will they get any work done? I agree what will the TC negotiator ask the Greeks? all I can think of are the Guarantees?

The GC negotiator has more work to do, he will either get a telling off from Erdoğan who is in a very nasty mood, he may even not meet with the GC rep or the USA have told the GCs what Turkey has agreed to and everything else is just a formality.

Is that before or after he has hidden is 1BN bribes with his son. I am surprised this man has a face to show the world. We need to keep remembering that these are the kind of crooks we are dealing with. Agreements, signatures with a Turk, yeah, ok, pull the other one.

The only thing i think that the greek FM rep.will tell the tc negotiator is that athens believes that the treaty of gurantorer is a outdated mechanism and will need to be replaced with something else ie a united cyprus in partnership for peace or even nato itself.

Only the Mavroyiannis trip to Ankara has any significance. He will get the chance to explain the Republic's position on the return of Varosha, the abolition of the treaty of guarantee and the return of settlers. It will be a chance for Mavroyiannis to patiently explain to the dimwits in the Turkish Foreign Ministry what they will have to do if they want to 'solve' the bind they are in as a result of the occupation of Cyprus.

Mavroyiannis will patiently explain the benefits to Turkey for its economy, it's EU accession, as well as regional and energy advantages, that it will derive from a solution.

In other words, Mavroyiannis will offer Turkey a way out. Whether they will act on his sound advice is another thing altogether.

As for Ozersay in Athens, he will get a glass of orange juice and the chance to see the Parthenon.

If the scenerio has not already been set by Turkey Greece and USA beforehand I doubt very much whether the GC rep will be taken seriously by Ankara especially in the current climate at best he will get to eat a Kebab and lay a wreath on the Great Kemal Ataturks grave.
