I got arrested (true story) and was taken to Trikomo Station by the "police".
The whole scene would have made a good comedy. Here are some examples of dialogue:
Paphitis (at the police station): It's hot in here. Can you turn on the air-conditioning?
"tnucland" police officer: (walks over to a window and opens it). I have turned on the air-conditioning.
"tnucland" police officer: F@#k, s@#t, the computer is not working. (Other expletives in Turkish)
Paphitis: Oh please allow me. (Walks over to the computer, Turkish police gets off the chair and Paphitis sits down) (Paphitis then performs a complicated reboot)
I must admit I didn't see any Statue of Grivas. If I knew about it, I would have asked the "tnucland" police what they did with it ...
Btw, that was the only time in my life such a thing happened, and was confronted by the long arm of the law or should I say "law".
