Return the Canterbury Tapestry to England

Postby bill cobbett » Wed Feb 12, 2014 4:57 pm

One of the Great Documents of English History, made in Canterbury, England and pinched by the predecessors of the Thieving French and illegally kept in the provincial nowhere of Bayeux, Normandy.

A poorly stitched in English Wool symbol in of the Illegal Norman Invasion and over 900 years of the Occupation started by William the Bastard that persists to the present day.

It belongs in the BM in Bloomsbury, London.

Here's a picky of a small bit of it...

Nothing to do with Greece, it is the principle. Hypocrisy at its best. The English believe the French have what belongs to them, whilst the Greeks say the English has something that belongs to them. Simple, come on Bill even you can agree to that.

STUD, unless you come up with an official link that says they were purchased, you are talking shit mate.

That was in fact the finding of a British Parliamentary committee of enquiry in 1816.

Err... B25 file, the English aren't exactly losing any sleep about BillC's fictitious campaign to recover the Canterbury Embroidery, take BillC's word for it ...

... mind you, if CY is settled this year BillC will have time on his hands to get up to mischief on the matter ... :D
