Intransigent Eroglu Tears Up the Agreeement

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

... and again from the CY PIO, another summary of a paper up there, in which someone calling himself a deputy leader of a political party, Lologlu, is complaining about being left in the dark as to the promises that Davutoglu has made.

The chap is also confused as to the aims of the talks, which to remind him, is about a settlement that is in the interests of CY and CYs and not Turkey...

"... Logoglu: We don’t know what promises Davutoglu has given on the Cyprus problem

Turkish Cypriot daily Volkan (18.02.14) reports that the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Deputy Chairman Faruk Logoglu, told a press conference yesterday that the party supports a Cyprus settlement. He said the party will support a just and permanent agreement that will protect the fundamental rights and interests of the Turkish Cypriot side and Turkey..."

This agreement is going to be on the whole a complete and utter fuck up worst than we had previously. How the hell can you have an agreement with half the other side not even know what the deal is. You can only have successful outcomes when you have FULL participation otherwise trouble.
All those that keep bringing Turkey into this should just F.O and go there. I small a rat in all of this and it won't be to the benefit of the GCs or TCs.

al-le-lu-ya!!!! It is designed to benefit Israel, Greece, UK, USA, Russia, the region, GCs and TCs..........How we get there is up for grabs.......partition or recognise our rights to negotiate from within the constitution..............I think your president has already told you this

Is that you Plonko...???
Didn't recognise you down that well
Grab this rope
Oooops ... sorry, hand slipped.

Anyways... What sort of 'leader" is this Two Peoples Countries Eroglu...???

Even the Brain-dead Snail is reporting on this supposed "leader"'s unhappiness with the Declaration.

"... In an interview with Hurriyet, Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu indicated that the joint communiqué was not to his liking, but that he would engage in talks regardless. ... "

... and this very poor excuse for a "leader" Eroglu signed up to a Declaration he claims he had a hand in, yet comes up with this...

"... Maintaining his hawkish outlook, Eroglu warned that he’d refuse to sign a peace deal which international movers and shakers might foist on Turkish Cypriots for the sake of wrapping up the decades-long conflict.

“If they force me to sign and we find ourselves at the mercy of the Greek Cypriots, to me that is not an agreement,” Eroglu said.

He challenged also the notion of a single sovereignty, as provided for in the joint declaration, saying: “All states are sovereign. No constitution of any nation-state speaks of a single sovereignty. But the Greek Cypriots insisted on this. Therefore each [constituent] state is sovereign...."

In the same article Baby Face Nami says that there's no question of Occupied Varosi being returned prior to and outside an overall settlement. Outrageously he says he regards the city as the "ace in the hole" for his side.

Well, perhaps someone should tell Baby Face what Mr Barrosso has said about separating Occupied Varosi from the talks and also remind him that the US Sec of State, John Kerry, is said to be planning to visit CY in March to advance the Obama Plan, including on the matter of Varosi ... interesting times.

Phile reports on condemnation of Two Types of Halloumi Two Countries Eroglu's Intransigence from within the Occupied Areas, from the sizeable Trades Unions up there, KTOS (Teacher's Union) and KTAMS (Civil Servants).

"... Nicosia: In a joint statement denouncing the T / C leader Dervis Eroglu to act aimed at blocking the negotiation process for Cyprus and the continuation of the status quo, made today the Turkish Cypriot teachers' union, KTÖS, and the guild " public "servants, KTAMS.

As broadcast from the occupied, the two unions criticized the statement of Dervis Eroglu that "the joint declaration contains abstract references" and accused him of representing those who benefit from the failure to resolve the Cyprus problem. ..."

More from the Fast-sinking and Very Side-lined and Very Intransigent Eroglugglug.

Turkishpress.com today reporting him saying...

"... "There is not yet any issue on our agenda like handing over Maras. When negotiations come to a stage of 'give-and-take,' we will surely discuss everything and we will discuss it with the people," Eroglu noted, explaining that territorial issues would be discussed in later stages..."

Which bit of the Joint Declaration hasn't he bothered to have read to him...??? This one perhaps...

"... 6. The appointed representatives are fully empowered to discuss any issue at any time ... "

Someone throw Eroglugglug a life-belt.
