Another shortsighted Turkish plot destined to backfire…

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Another shortsighted Turkish plot destined to backfire…

Postby Get Real! » Mon Feb 10, 2014 2:15 am

No sooner has the UN advised all and sundry not to make negative statements in the media and to instead find ways of positive promotion of the latest scheduled CyProb talks, that Turkey has already plastered all over her media more about the “last chance and repercussions thereof” than the current attempt at “reunification” itself!

“Last chance” article #3

Turkey has already embarked on a “last chance” campaign similar to the last “last chance” campaign of 2004. In fact they didn’t even have to write anything new… they just rehashed the previous “last chance” material of 2004 which basically went…

“These talks are the last chance as both parties would have to go their own separate ways in the case of the rejection”

Once again Turkey seems to think that if these “talks” (read sitting down comedy) fail (and I believe they already have thanks to Turkey), the world’s nations will come out in their hundreds in support of the illegal puppet state because the great orator has declared them a “last chance”! 8)

The “great orator”, otherwise known as Little Weasel even goes as far as “laying down” new international law by demanding that they… “must go their separate ways”! But what exactly does that entail O’ Grand Vizier of Anatolia? :?

 Will you have convinced the UNSC of reversing the RoC’s sovereign UN-member nation status in place of your deluded Turkish banana?

Which of these five permanent members (or P5) are in your pocket Davutoglu? China? France? Russia? UK? US? :? I think NONE!

So is it really the last chance of Cyprus or the last chance of Turkey? :)

So whose "last chance" is it Davutoglu?

Let's face it... the way things are going and what's still coming for Turkey... you may not even exist this time next year so it may well be your last chance to survive. :|

What surprises me is that they seem absolutely sure there is going to be a FINAL PLAN!
this round of talks constituted the last chance for a united Cyprus as both parties would have to go their own separate ways in the case of the rejection of the final agreement

Their plan is to ram their final plan to referendum which will probably only include 10% of what was mentioned in the joint communique and the rest not.

if this fails, which Ahmet "problems with neighbors" Davutoglu has a doctorate in, he will turn the north into a separate sovereign state will he?. :?

He is setting himself up for another failure.

I think this is Turkey's last chance to get a piece of the action of Cypriot's Gas & Oil (plus Israel’s and others in the region) by piping it through Turkey with a Cyprus settlement, before good money is spent on other methods in getting the Gas & Oil to Europe!

Israel cannot pipe anything to Turkey without going through either Lebanon’s or Cyprus’ maritime domain so it’s all a Turkish pipe-dream… quite literally!

If the Cyprus Gas & Oil is piped through Turkey with a settlement, Israel won't have any choice but to send it's Oil & Gas through Turkey to Europe also via Cyprus. This really is Turkey's Last Chance before she gets nothing at all.

I cant see Turkey usurping all that power. Cyprus and Israel would be wise to have an alternative export route too.

At the moment though, I think Turkey just wants the gas for itself.

Experts advised that it would be too costly to transport it via Turkey, even if we wanted to.
a)Who is going to bear the costs to finance the pipeline which is estimated to cost billions upon billions?
b)what commission is Turkey going to ask for letting the gas pass through her territory?

Turkey surely wants something from this gas bussiness the question is what?
I have absolutely no idea...
It could be what Maximus said, maybe she wants some good part for herself, but how on earth is she going to get it?
Any ideas Maximus?
Maybe there is gas in the sea between Kyrenia and Turkey and they all keep that information secret.
