Lordo, both the US and Russia like to cruise the Med in their big boom-boom boats, if they want some petrol or mendy mendy broken boat they can't fix it at airbase. Besides Yankee men can use Limey airbase at Akrotiri, why need two on Cyprus?


i am not suggesting they should have one, i am telling you there is a nato airfield in the north. i suspect the akrotiri one is not a nato base, it is a british base. there is a difference.

Akrotiri is a British base, so where is this NATO one? The land of Um Bongo?

remember these are politicians and politicians play politics so I would take what all politicians say with a pinch of salt . This applies to all politicians of all creeds
