Another shortsighted Turkish plot destined to backfire…

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

a)Who is going to bear the costs to finance the pipeline which is estimated to cost billions upon billions?
b)what commission is Turkey going to ask for letting the gas pass through her territory?

Turkey surely wants something from this gas bussiness the question is what?
I have absolutely no idea...
It could be what Maximus said, maybe she wants some good part for herself, but how on earth is she going to get it?
Any ideas Maximus?
Maybe there is gas in the sea between Kyrenia and Turkey and they all keep that information secret.

a) Turkey has not offered a Lira towards building a pipeline.
b) Turkey claims a share on behalf of the Turkish Cypriots. I remember Erdogan saying a while back that he wanted a 30% cut for transporting it through Turkey.

In the event of a pipeline going through Cyprus to Turkey, it will have to contend with challenging and awkward terrain. From where to where will the pipeline be laid? Is it worth doing this to shave 100Km off from the alternative which is an all out undersea pipeline?

This is Turkeys last chance...

Pipelines carrying water can easily be contaminated.

Erdogan & Co are. They want their 30% "toll fee" via a pipeline to Europe and they have not even offered to pay for it.

If this is so then who is going to build it?? Everybody knows we are totally broke. Everybody knows we are begging around trying to convince foreign investors to build us the liquification terminal....30% could be logical assuming they would build it themselves -but without it is total nonsense.

I am absolutely certain there is something else in the picture. But what is it, could it be some other promises from the Americans?
I mean Turkey never gives up something unless she gets something better, what the heck is it?
Any ideas, anyone?

Turkey is not in anyone's favor in the region at the moment. What would the Americans promise the Turks when they know;

Turkey has been helping Iran circumvent sanctions
Turkey exposes Iranian spies working for Israel
Turkey shuns NATO in Favor of Chinese military hardware
Turkey is double and dodgy dealing the EU with regards to her accession process
Erdogan is becoming more and more despotic with each passing day.

I think Turkey's got serious domestic and foreign issues to deal with and her problems haven't even started yet. I don't think there is a good enough reason or even if it is a good idea to pass Cypriot and Israeli gas through Turkey - at this time.
