Dear dthkie Bill, why do you think I should vote for Şener Levent rather than 'Action' (ΔΡΑΣΙ/EYLEM)? The latter appeal to me as the only platform fielding candidates from both communities.

Are you kidding us?! Where are the Turkish Cypriot candidates, where is Drasy-Eylem?! And with all due respect, you cannot claim your psefto public opinion poll to be "pankypria". Who have you spoken to in Kyrenia? In Morphou? In Elya? In Dereboyu?!... You are just a joke. Don't even bother to watch them people. I personally turned off PIK. Have more important and serious things to do.............

No, but in the interview they struck me as being left wingers who are in touch with contemporary ideas.

A friend of mine, who I consider left wing went to their election rally in Nicosia the other day. he is quite active in the political scene.

He asked a few questions about how they are going to achieve the things they were talking about but their answers were poor. He called them a bunch of 'hippies' living on the fringes of reality.

Thanks for that feedback. I will bear all these things in mind as I make my decision, although I found them to be quite articulate in their TV interview.

This is not dissimilar to what a lot of people have been advocating for a long time. It is right but giving the settlers and the carpetbaggers or those who where born in Cyprus post 1974 Cypriot citizenship is not. This throws a spanner in the works. One child born in Cyprus can quickly turn into five people with 'rights' to stay because you cannot split up a family.

How is he going to achieve all this? Consider, he is completely the opposite of popular amongst the TC and the rest of "TRNC electorate".

More and more babies born , with rights. Don't assume just because the parents are illegal that the babies are too..

We have established that the settlers (all of them) are illegal. The occupation and Turkey transferring her population to Cyprus to change the demographics of the island is illegal. Born in Cyprus or otherwise.

Its not more and more babies being born with rights, what I am saying is that one baby born with "rights" could extend to the rest of the family which may include two parents and two or more siblings. what if the parents say that they want to exercise that child's right to stay because Seners says that child has a birth right?
