I am still a bit puzzled about that, too. I think you can do both of the above or just one. So, you can either just vote for the party/platform, or a specific member. I hope I have worked out how it works by the day.

but i'm still confused. i imagine that you will have only one "X" which you can use to vote for an individual (within a party or not), the rest is mathematics.
It is explained in the link. You have one choice, using a variety of marks, from among the large boxes below each party/group list or independent candidate, and you can also vote for up to two individual candidates in the list of your preference. So, if you want to vote for Şener Levent, for example, you will mark the large box beneath his name. Since he is a single candidate, that is all you can do. If, on the other hand, you want to vote for Action, you mark the large box beneath that group's list of candidates. Then, if you wish, you can mark the boxes beside either one or two names on that list to indicate your preference/s for that/those candidates. The second stage is optional.
