what influence does a europarliamentarian have?...if he gets up in front of the europarliament and denounces Turkey to all of Europe then he is worth more then anything that Cypriot politicians and Greek/Cypriot lobbyist around the world have been able to accomplish in more then 40 years. On the subject of settlers staying, he contradicts himself when he states that all refugees have the right of return, and then says that some settlers can stay, its impossible for 150,000 settlers to stay when all refugees return.

I am still a bit puzzled about that, too. I think you can do both of the above or just one. So, you can either just vote for the party/platform, or a specific member. I hope I have worked out how it works by the day.

He will never do that because he will be representing the illegal Turkish mainlanders that he will see settled permanently and keep him in power forever more. Also, Turkey will have him instantly imprisoned for "Insulting Turkishness" (Article 301) and he will be dealt with like the thousands languishing in their prisons.
