The TC's can still collectively elect him, although he doesn't think that they will turn out to vote. Turkey doesn't want him in the way so what can he do about the occupation? So he is appealing to the GCs to elect him.

I ask those GC's who are considering doing that, what they think they will achieve with their vote?

Well, yes, but who knows who will turn up to vote when the big story may be one of a massive amount of abstentions, but whilst "g"IG is scratching her behind, can we move on to other areas of Levent's manifesto, to another contentious area.

And, what part of the Geneva Convention states that illegal immigrants cannot be returned to their homelands?

What part of the Geneva Convention states that countries cannot make such agreements to restore peace after a war?

And, what part of the Geneva Convention allows what is happening NOW, or will continue, which is the prevention of 200,000 GCs returning to their homes, in their OWN country?

Again (!!!)... would "g"IG give us some examples of '000s of Illegal Settlers, in something like the CY situation, being deported under the Geneva Convention.

If "g"IG had a single working brain-cell, she'd see that laws that aren't applied aren't laws, just next to useless well-meant declarations...!!!

You're the one who claimed the Geneva Convention would prevent the removal of the illegal immigrants when he have the solution. I don't see a problem, legally or morally in removing the illegal colonisers! So you need to answer the above questions otherwise you're just showing how ill-thought out your total support for this politician is.

Everyone wants the Turkish army out - but he intends to replace it with 100s of thousands of Turkish Settlers and bestow upon them Cypriot Citizenship.

So how is the Geneva convention going to stop the RoC allowing the GCs to return to their homes in the north and how is it going to stop the removal of those illegal immigrants? Where does it do that now?

Anyways, let's see if we can get "g"IG's knickers into even more of a twist, when Levent says...

Well there is not much anyone can do about it is there other than try to solve the Cyprus Problem as quickly as possible before more damage is done.

Fact is, Sener is not legitimizing anything. International Law and Human Rights will prohibit the return of all settlers and if you think that is not the case then you are off your head!

Fact is, those married to a Cy or born in Cy will be allowed to stay. Those on illegitimate work or student visas will have to go. Those born in Turkey and not married to a Cy will have to go.

Whether you like it or not, that is what is going to happen because that is what Human Rights advocates will be prepared to stomach along with the UN and EU.

The only way to get rid of them all is to pay them to leave. Provide an incentive. That is possible but will cost Billions.
