I do not know what you mean or what you want to be convinced off ? I have always been half British and half Cypriot. That is just what I am and you telling me I do not exist as a Cypriot does not change that. I have always considerd myself Cypriot, referred to myself as (part) Cypriot and have never considered myself or referred to myself as just Turkish. My father was born in Cyprus not turkey. He grew up in Cyprus not Turkey. His parents were Cypriot, not Turkish. They were born in Cyprus not Turkey. They grew up and lived in Cyprus not Turkey and their parents before them. From the age of 4 onwards I have regularly visited Cyprus not Turkey. My family on my fathers side is in Cyprus, born in Cyprus and live in Cyprus not Turkey. I chose to come and live in Cyprus not Turkey when I left the UK.

I can not convince you of anything. You will simply believe what ever you want to believe. You want to believe that I am not Cypriot but am in fact Turkish, that is your choice and prerogative but it does not change the fact that I am Cypriot and not Turkish in every way, emotionally, internally, practically, physically and legally.

I just don't want cyprus to turn into bosnia and 20 years from now it's some dysfunctional state at the mercy of everyone.

I remind that Bosnia, Serbia, and Kosovo, etc were just territories of Yugoslavia (an ex-UN member) and not UN-members themselves so they were VALID CANDIDATES for “carving up” as the powers saw fit!

So be careful not to sign away your UN-member sovereign status or Cyprus will indeed become like Bosnia if not worse!

You see... RIGHT NOW THEY CAN'T TOUCH YOU WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT so don't make it easy for them!

Look, I wasn't asking for your personal details so spare me from your CV!

But answer my questions if you can honestly...

1. Isn’t the complete cessation from the RoC your people’s ultimate goal?

I personally would say no more or less than your peoples ultimate goal was and is to have Cyprus ruled by GC and only GC, free to pursue purely GC wants and aspirations with no regard for the TC community.

The latest news from Baycrap is, that following meetings with leaders of parties up there, the office of Eroglu of "trnc" is now saying that agreement has been reached on the joint communiqué.

Having read the preceding discussion I can't help laughing that this whole declaration business is null and void.
We are trying to set the scene for meaning full talks in the face of, Turkish aggression in our EEZ, water and power pipeline project, quarrying pentadaktylos, the pacman flag on the mountain, gypsy settlers roaming freely in our country and a host more other illegalities. It is like trying to negotiate with your wifes rapist to stop leave you alone whilst he is still banging the shit out if her!
Seriously, our leader needs shooting even to be talking to these turds without first demanding the cessation of all those illegal activities. Least of all that Turkey openly states that she does not only recognise Cyprus, but doesn't even know of a place called Cyprus, FFS. Are these actions conducing to meaning ful talks.
GR, i hear what you say about the UN resolutions, but really file, do you think the corrupt UN even gives a fuck about them?

if you are referring to the udi deceleration it was because your asshole leadership refused to sit in the same room to negotiate at the time and fat load of good it has done. if you are referring to the flags they are on private property. it has nothing to do with tc populations thoughts. if you bothered to cross the border you would find that north lefkosa is full of settlers and tcs have moved to the suburbs. but of course you dont have the balls to cross do you.

i am referring to negotiations. when was there any talk of cessation ever in the last 50 years. which year and which venue.
