what i want to know is what will be the level of compensation for those who lost property to the other side but refused to accept other peoples property and did not exchange.

They will receive an IKEA coupon.

You are obviously referring to Kibrislis who "lost" their properties in the RoC controlled area, but refused to accept other peoples property and did not exchange.
There are no "lost" properties in the RoC controlled areas. If you have a Kocan for the property you get it back immediately with a solution. If the property is inhabited then the same things we said above. If the property was used by the State and is among those few that were expropriated (and declared as such at the Gazette) you get compensation according to the value it had at expropriation date plus interest.
If they were not expropriated in time, then you are really lucky. They will have to expropriate them IMMEDIATELY and you will get current value compensation.
Good luck to you if you are one of those.

According to the Anan Plan Morfou would be returned to the GCs but NOT THE ORCHARDS of Morfou.
Now ask any Kypreo or Kibrisli who lived in this place before 1974 to tell you what's the worth of Morfou without the Orchards....

Hmmm... nothing?

So from all the discussion above we can clearly see that the joint declaration is far from a solution and that pretty much everything is still up in the air, so ı wouldnt get to excited as we have a knack of arguing over the smallest of issues for decades with no end result....Cypriots on both sides of the border are idiots.

Start with something simple then. Quite psychological. The green line.
Remove that first. Physical barriers that have an impact on all. Everyone hates it. Surely folk can agree on that?

I doubt it. This physical barrier will be removed when the Turkish army leave. The psychological barrier will disappear when something is done about it.

Under the current status quo, Turkey controls immigration to the north and not the RoC and the European commission. Just removing this barrier may pose a security and illegal immigration risk.

I was trying to ignore that part. Assuming nobody likes that barrier there, an attempt at agreement on something failed again :-(

Bloody hate feeling like a paranoid criminal going through.
