I think one must agree to disagree with what each ethnic group believes if it was invasion or intervention . Yes at the time it was agreed by the guarantors for action to be taken . One wishes if the action had been taken jointly like it was taken in Bosnia then things may have turned out different. It is a fact action was required no matter how much GC believe or have over the years completely wiped out the truth about the ethnic cleansing of TC . I totally believe action should have been taken but not by turkey on its own because they have made them self the target for finger pointing that's why when America goes around the world involving in intervention or invasion they bring in allies and turkey made a mistake to go it alone or turkey should have gone in like they did but to stop the aggression and ethnic cleansing perpotrated by Sampson s weird twisted nazi like ideology . There is no doubt in my mind because my relatives were raped and burned alive by these characters but I am not weird or twisted or have any hatred for specific races because as much as we all have the potential to do evil on people we also have the potential to do good. I am married to a GC and to be honest the only time I am made aware of all this is if I come across some one who still has a grudge and wants to take it out on anyone. This behaviour needs to stop from both cultures because the new generation want to move on .please do not encourage your kids to hate or have prejudice against each other . Not interested in what race you are but if you knew that your people are being massacred buried alive burned ,babies,children etc and you then was given a gun to fight that same race that done all this ,how would you see that race ? I hope never to be in that position because I don't have that hatred but it's food for thought . Let's not forget after what the nazis done to the Jews . What us never mentioned what the allies done in revenge they bombed the cities in Germany to the ground and killed far more civilians than the Germans and they are not portrayed in the way turkey is .
