Britain's HOLD on the Greek Cypriots!

Britain's HOLD on the Greek Cypriots!

Postby MrH » Thu Jan 30, 2014 11:03 am

Britain's HOLD on the Greek Cypriots!Based on the land distribution between Ethnic Turkish and Greek Cypriots, it's obvious that the Greek Cypriots owned more land pre-1974. However, based on the 1960 agreements, governmental powers and voting rights were based on an Equal footing, thus 50/50 in the upper house voting structure where BOTH Bi-Communal Partners and their Guarantor countries were more or less as one. That's why the Greek Cypriots wanted the 13-point Makarios changes, thus that's why the 1963 conflict started as the Greek Cypriots couldn't accept that they had made a mistake (or were tricked by the UK) in signing the original 1960 agreement(s) and wanted to enforce its changes against our TC vote, and also that the Greek Cypriots were actually tricked by the powers of the United Kingdom at the time. That's why it's laughable when Britain today throws a Carrot at the Greek Cypriots to keep them quiet instead of taking the UK to court and getting their so-called Soverign bases removed from the island of Cyprus - which the Greek Cypriots easily can by the way. And, that's why Britain further encourages the Presence and running of the TRNC as a guarantee should the Greek Cypriots attempt such a futile move.

In other words, the United Kingdom has the Greek Cypriots by the balls, and the Greek Cypriots are too weak to act against Britain. Now do you see how intelligent the English are as compared to the Greek Cypriots?

If the above is not true, then claim your land back.....as if!

What, no Comments by the Greek Cypriots........Doesn't the truth hurt. Ask your leaders....but then again, they are a bunch of twisted liars anyway. Perhaps you could ask the British Embassy to leave and see what "Official" answer they'll give you?

The time will come when the Republic will discuss the matter of Sovereignty of the SBAs with GB.

A GB move that must make you and your chum, the Two Types of Halloumi Two Countries Eroglu sickened not just with this Agreement but also and more with the Pres A/PM Cameron Joint Commniuque of a couple of weeks ago, of a settlement based on "One Citizenship, One Sovereignty, One International Face"

In the meantime, a large number of CYs will (if they choose) be able to develop their lands under the Planning Powers of the Republic.

Whichever way you want to disguise, detract and denigrate from the Agreement with GB Mr H, it's a big move forward for the powers of the Republic in to the SBAs.

An Agreement Mr H that has led the marginalised Eroglu and the powerless "trnc" , to go red in the face and throw the toys out of the pram with the ridiculous and clownish statements that they don't "recognise" the Agreement. ... so much for the "power" and "authority" of "trnc".

An Agreement that GB was perfectly at liberty to offer within its role as a Guarantor Power.

Patience Mr H, patience and shrewdness Mr H, Sovereignty will stay on the back boiler, for now.

there was no need, we had the veto to protect ourselves from enosis. if you want the veto to go then the upper house will be 50/50 including the chair.

Being a British born turkish Cypriot has its benefits, and understanding the British mentality is my speciality as I believe Cyprus ultimately should have remained under British rule - but of course the Greek Cypriot Terrorist EOKA A regime took care of that with their constant picking off of British soldiers and their innocent families. Regardless, that's history and the 1960 Republic agreement was signed out of desperation. Anyway, let's get back to today, where it's the struggle between seeking either a Complete resolution to the Cyprus issue or partial, and at the moment the Greek Cypriots represent the ROC but without either of the territory under the TRNC or the Two British basis. The agreement with the TRNC is entirely based on the resolution and removal of the British basis as a pre-requisite, mark my words. If the Greek Cypriots can remove the British basis from their EU territory, then Britain will side with the EU legally in forcing Turkey's hand on the TRNC.

It might be strange of someone like me to say such a thing, but the United Kingdom is playing with a double-edged sword with the Sharpe end deeply embedded in the territory controlled by the GC-ROC and the blunt end facing the TRNC - KNOWINGLY!

If the Greek Cypriots had an inch of a political brain in knowing how to manipulate and collect - they would forget about trying to convince Turkey on the TRNC, but start with the British bases first.

But, we know they will not and Britain, my home country, will show the Greek Cypriots who is actually controlling the ROC in a face to face political combat. If the Greek Cypriots believe they are a politically strong as they imagine, then bring it on and watch the United Knigdom Recognise the TRNC along the way as an element of Retaliation.

Be careful how you pick your friends, but more importantly, know when you are being called a SHEEP! or should I say DONKEY as Turkey knows that the Greek Cypriots are cornered....which is why the TRNC has existed Comfortably since 1983!

No by kurupetos, or what ever your Stupid name is. The huge Turkish Cypriot and Turkish population in London rules the tiny Greek Cypriot factory goers. Today, it's the Turks in London who pull the British strings On the Cyprus problem and not the Greek Cypriots - didn't you know that fool? It's a FACT to try to explain to dumb people like you that Britain has you by the balls, is playing with your daughters and Turkey is thankful that they have kept the TRNC alive since 1974. Thank you Britian, keep up the good work as it's evident that the Greek Cypriots are as dumb as you had originally said back in 1960, 1974, 1983, 2004 and now.....

If you are so influential and powerful my Greek Cypriot compatriots (including the stupid Liberal TC symphaphisers), then let's see you remove the British Soverign bases from the island......NOT! Go on, Prove me wrong! I dare you to and watch the UK take you to the cleaners on the entire Cyprus question.......Oooppps, did you just flush the toilet? I thought so!

He can't help it. He's one of the "Turkish Speaking" (TS) problems that let Britain down ....

Some of the key findings are as follows. Educational underachievement amongst TS pupils was identified thirty years ago, however little has been done by local authorities to address the problem. This underachievement is partly a result of low expectations by teachers and other education service providers, the invisibility of TS communities in educational policies, structures and procedures and poor school-home-community relations. TS pupils have the lowest or second lowest educational achievement across nine Local Education Authorities [LEAs] in London based on Key Stages 1,2,3 and GCSE examination results; this position [where data is available] has not changed over the years and is unlikely to change in the near future. Turkish Cypriot pupils are the highest TS achievers, yet remain below local and national averages.
