The life in the north is the direct consequence of being excluded from the EU and GC establishment is responsible for this. Whilst they exploit all the TC properties in the north and legally, they have excluded the TCs who are also EU citizens from this benefit since 1963. That is the shame of UN and the EU for allowing it.
Having said that, Norther Cyprus is no different than any other western country when it comes to racism. Racism also applies to the RoC too. You can find countless of racists attacks against black people and TCs in the RoC where the authorities turn a blind eye to it.
