There are no documents to suggest Britain seriously thought of giving up Cyprus and plenty which show it tricked Cypriots into fighting in the British Army for the possibility of enosis; and plenty more documents which demonstrate to what ENDS the British went to in order to secure their foothold in Cyprus which was only dented by EOKA.
BTW, Grivas was not the only one in EOKA.
Brit hating nutter, I really don't want to engage with you, there's no point.
BTW, EOKA would never have existed as it did without Grivas, read his memoirs, I'll loan you a copy if you pay for the postage.
Bloody nutter, doesn't know when to give up or shut up.
You've clearly lost the debate. How am I a "Brit hating nutter" when I was discussing a moment in history and the parts played by colonialist Britain? If I said slavery was wrong and it took Britain far too long to end this practice, would that be because I am a "Brit hating nutter" or because this was hateful behaviour even for that point in history when many other nations did not exploit others in such a fashion?
No, it's you who is unable to engage in a dispassionate discussion but wants to maintain face by brown-nosing.
