This is a matter we've covered a few times over the years on CF.
Here's a British Pathe newsreel of the time.
It's entitled Tragic Aftermath Of Turkish Bombing On Greek Cypriot Village 1964.
It is of the bombing of civilians with the use of that most indiscriminate and repulsive of weapons, napalm.
The description British Pathe gives is...
"... Location Unspecified, Greek Cypriot Village
VS. Greek Cypriot women cooking on little fires and trying to look after their young as they have no home. VS. Damage to the small village as a result bombing and general attacking from Turkish jets. MS. Dead animals that were to be food to the villagers. VS. More damage and places are still smoking as a result of the dropping of napalm bombs. VS. Greek women trying to get on with life again and their men are looking on bewildered at what has happened to their village. MS. Staged shot of some Greeks carrying rifles in advance position. VS. Villagers making their way to another destination. ..."
