On the contrary, it was not our "Greek connection" (since that is what we are) that lost us anything BUT it was the loss of our "Greek connection" when we allowed the substitution with Turkish "Cypriots" that lost us part of our island to Turkey.

The only way we are ever going to get our island back completely is when we finally realise this is a Greek island and like Greece, part of the EU!

Greece can't even look after itslef and when it could all they were good for was Frappe while Turkey invaded.

The US/UK and NATO are far more important and the RoC has better relations with them.

Cyprus’ struggle seems to have gone over your head because it’s not about YOU getting it back but Cypriots getting it back and then making sure that the likes of Greece and Turkey stay well clear so that stupid mistakes never happen again.

Greece couldn't organize a root in a brothel!

Greece is as important to the the RoC as East Timor and the Soloman Islands. The RoC has no choice but to interact with the movers and shakers of this world and not poor dysfunctional and heavily marginalized Greece which has caused us much grief and destruction.
