Every land mass and every island is entitled to an EEZ of 200nm or the sea is disected along the median line. UNCLOS is quite clear.

Turkey has no claim over any resources in the Aegean or South of Crete. They belong to Greec, and if the quantities are commercially viable, then Greece can issue exploration and drilling rights to any interested party.

The law doesn't give "more" rights/resources to the tiny sovereign island though, but it gives it the same rights, as individuals deserve. You are confused with the "more rights" that the tiny Turkish minority were given, in the Constitution, over the majority Greek Cypriots.
