Why not use a downloader to pull the video of YouTube then rename and reloadd it elsewhere?

I am tablet bound and while I can pull videos down I cannot repost them....

Jees... some of us are being left behind in these new and hard to understand technologies.

Anyways,

Exciting news that the unladylike ladies of FEMEN have staged one of their topless protests against Mad Erdogan at a polling station in Istanbul today...

(More pickies to follow... err... hopefully.)

For those saddos who follow these things.

Election results in so far in Turkey indicate an increase in support for Erdogan's AKP Party, up from 38 to 44% of the popular votes so far counted.

Main opposition CHP way, way behind at around 22%.

Third so far are the Ultra-Nationalist Kill the Rums and Anyone Else who isn't Turkish Enough Murdering Grey Wolves of MHP at 18%.

Some pleasing news for some with a report of supporters of Erdogan's AKP Party attacking supporters of the Grey Wolves MHP Party with doner kebab knives and iron bars...

(From Hurriyet)

"... A group of around 50 people, reportedly supporters of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), attacked supporters of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) at a primary school in the Keçiören district of Ankara on March 30, as Turkey went to the polls for a crucial local election.

According to eye witnesses, the attackers, who came to the 29 Ekim Primary School in six minivans, used iron sticks and döner kebab knives, wounding 10 people. All those wounded were treated at nearby hospitals. ... "

According to Hurriyet... With nearly 90% of the votes counted, Erdogan's AKP has increased its share of the vote from 38% at the last local elections to 43%.

The Opposition CHP (the middle-class Secular Kemalists if you will) have a miserable 26% and the Nutter Grey Wolves of MHP have just under 18%.

So how does Erdogan do it...???

James Reynolds has this simple and effective formula...

"... If the early results of Turkey's local elections are confirmed, Recep Tayyip Erdogan will have won six consecutive nationwide polls. He's done so by maintaining a solid base of support among the working class and the religious. Years ago, Mr Erdogan worked out what may be a simple, unavoidable fact: these two, overlapping groups outnumber Turkey's liberal, secular elite. Hold on to that large base, and you hold on to power. ..."

... to which BillC would add, to bully the press in to supporting AKP and to also close down Twitter and YouTube in the days before the elections.

Bill, it is called Turkish democracy, shut everyone and everything up and only you (Erdogan) be allowed to spew the shit that you (Erdogan) do.

Next step, Dictator, the Turks will get the leader they deserve. Good riddance.

...what with the quantity of cats in Cyprus, these brutes likely come from here. do not discount Cypriot ingenuity; some countries have killer dolphins, ours are furry and cute.

http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/news ... s-election

The Turkish energy minister blamed an election-night power cut on a cat, raising not-entirely-genuine fears of a sinister feline lobby.

...what about the other cuts across Turkey? cats i tell you, and enemies of the state.
