It's funny seeing Erdogan and Gülen going after each other so that one of them can become the "top dog".

How appropriate it is to say this one more time. :D

"If you can't fcuk a friend, who can you fcuk"

The AKP’s campaign to purge all traces of the Gülen Organisation continues with a vengeance. The name of a bus stop in Istanbul previously named after the school belonging to the Gülen network which it served has been changed to the name of the neighbourhood in which it is situated!

Ding Ding ... Round 3

The Internet Control debate in Turkey...

Hurriyet has news of another discussion in the Badly In Need of a Peace Intervention Turkish Parliament that descends into a boxing match.

"... Turkey's parliament approved a law potentially increasing government control over the appointment of judges and prosecutors on Feb. 15, with lawmakers violently scuffling over the contested reforms introduced amid a major graft scandal.

Fighting erupted overnight with fists flying in the air between ruling party and opposition lawmakers as the bill was debated in a marathon 20-hour session.

Ali Ihsan Köktürk, lawmaker from the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), got a bloodied nose in the brawl, while ruling Justice and Development Party's (AKP) lawmaker Bayram Özçelik's finger was broken. ... "

Risin' up - straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance now he's not gonna stop
Its just Erdogan and his will to survive

It's the - eye of the Turkey It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival;
And the - last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the

How on earth do we expect the talks to go anywhere when we see the above examples of how Turkish politicians react when things don't go there way, will they employ the same tactics in front of UN intermediaries. Actually in a sort of perverse way I hope they do, it will show the buggers up for what they really are - bullies and thugs.

As for their propaganda, this has been repeated several times in "Zaman" in different reports, "The Cyprus talks have been stalled since January 2012 due to postponements by Greek Cyprus for various reasons." when they must know that everyone, including the EU that they want to join, knows it's a downright lie.
