We have it writing that it is indeed the British who did not believe we could run our *own show* or even had the right to say HOW we wanted to run our own show. For it is the British who insisted we not only have a veto imposed on us by Turks, disproportionate Turkish representation in government, the say-so of 3 guarantors but also have the permanent presence of British on OUR sovereign base areas!
