Oooo....that's below the belt Get Real, with all of your knowledge of the EOKA A, EOKA B, the failed negotiations from 1974 to 1983 and the High Level agreements of 1979.....and the Set of Ideas and Annan Plan. It's not entirely our fault and you know it. What did you expect us to do, roll over and die? The current situation only exist due to a lack of confidence, and that stems from 1963. Although today's environment may appear more conducive for a federal type of solution, the events of the past have been stretched for far too long. My children who were born in 1974, 75 and 76 are now mothers and fathers of their own....knowing only the TRNC. A rollback to those years is now impossible. As for the "military force"....I think you need to speak to the British and Americans as it's them whom Turkey works very closely with, including the Israelis who have tricked your leaders into signing new Hydro-Carbon deals. It's amazing how easily believed and lead your Greek Cypriot government is - or trusting towards others!

Hi all, sorry for being away for a while - hence this subject. I have just returned from the U.S working on a long project at the University of Stanford, California and wanted to highlight how much they praised The "Eastern Mediterranean University" in Northern Cyprus as being the island's best University. Some might say on this forum as to what does this have to do with the "Cyprus Problem". Well, everything really as EMU is an internationally recognised University of the TRNC, and that is how it's also being portrayed externally too!

Best in what? Does it have a programme in 'Advanced Carpetbagging'?

The truth is that facts regarding EMU being the Best University in Cyprus Disturbs the Greek Cypriots as it added to their "Turkish" complex, and that anything Turkish on the island always ends up better - Casinos, Hotels, Food, Places and Touristic sites, military, Historical areas...and now Universities and education. What's even more funny is that the Turkish Cypriots, prior to being deprived by the Greek Cypriot enforced leadership between 1963 to 1974, now enjoy the full benefits of Proper, unbiased, University education the "TURKISH" way. That's why the old Turkish Cypriot ascent, culture and way of life is now a thing of the past and we are all now "Turks of Cyprus" and no longer "Turkish Cypriots".

HENCE! A Unitary Cyprus solution is impossible as there are no longer any Pure "Turkish Cypriots" on the island.
