Well that's like a criminal complaining to a judge that the judge is trying to force his demands on him.
The communique is designed to keep the Turkish Cypriots from straying outside the international legal framework.
Hello who made your side judge, you probably expect to be the jury as well.
Correct. As representatives of the legally recognised Republic of Cyprus it is our duty to uphold the sovereign rights - under international law - of the Republic. We therefore cannot have a ‘solution’ that would violate international law and undermine our sovereign rights under the UN and the EU.
That is why there can be no talks without a commitment from both sides to uphold the sovereignty of the Republic. This is non-negotiable.
If you havent already noticed theres a new state of play, everything has and will change under a new agreement otherwise whats the point of NEGOTIATINGanything, just come clean and say you want to impose your will from the outset so that you can get what you want without even having to take into account the demands of the TCs, same old same old.
