We're not talking here about an alliance with Kurds - our cultures are incompatible and for sure Turkey uses the Kurds as conscripts or troublemakers in their occupied lands.

But if the Kurds are fighting for their freedom from Turkey, fighting to end Turkey's occupation of their lands, then we have that in common and we have a vested interest in their success. The Kurds have no interest in Cyprus unless Turkey uses them as weapons against us, like settling them here. The sooner they have their own land, the sooner we shall get some stability in these regions.
