Greek National Anthem

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Greek National Anthem

Postby Viewpoint » Mon Nov 11, 2013 5:37 pm

Do the so called Cypriots on this forum really believe that TCs should be subjected to the Greek national anthem as the national anthem for all Cypriots on Cyprus? I have no problem accepting a new Cypriot national anthem and leaving behind the Turkish Naitonal anthem yet you cannot do the same.....says a lot about which side is intrangient and the obstacle to finding a solution.

Not even we should be subjected to the Greek anthem! It’s an awful tune that forms no part of the RoC constitution and should be replaced by a local anthem.

Oh dear ... VP is gonna be disappointed with most of the replies on this one.

Agree with both the above (with the proviso that "nothing is agreed 'til everything is agreed")

Now VP and the rest of you useless and scabby lot, please be upstanding for the New One CY Anthem...

Since the majority wants to keep the current one, we will just do that. A simple matter of democracy. :D

If by current one, you mean the Greek anthem, then perhaps those who want a Cypriot national anthem are too scared of pissing off the loud and violent minority that wants the Greek anthem.

As per usual Kurupet assumes everything just as he assumed that Greece’s national OXI day is celebrated by saluting Hitler!

The boy has the IQ of a lip curling mountain goat and that’s something you need to take into consideration when dealing with him.

In the online IQ tests, I scored higher than you a few years ago... But you are too stupid to remember that.
