The relations between the USA and Turkey are not as congenial as they once were during the cold war years.

It will take some event in the M.East, an event involving Israel and most probably Iran, an event that may cause further cooling of the Turkish / Israel /USA relations.

Both Israel and America are considered as enemies by most M.Eastern nations. The primary consideration for both Israel and America is the protection of their perceived interests. One of this major interests is the newfound gas.

Anyone who believes in prophesies has as much wisdom as those spreading these total and utter nonsense, not least one of our two resident Plonkers, Kourou and guess who.

You woke up sober, but stupid as any other previous day, old boy.

Prophecies are fulfilled when the predicted events have taken place, and they are considered false in the case such events haven't.

The aforementioned prophecy has been partly fulfilled (part 1 of 2  ). Only the future will tell us if the second part will be fulfilled or not.

Dependence on foreigners, like Americans and Israelis, will only lead us to further enslavement. As the great Athenian stateman Demosthenes once said, "Beware lest in your anxiety to avoid war you obtain a master."

Your views on the Cyprob I always considered obnoxious and daft.

In days gone by you vehemently abhorred both the USA and Israel, two nations that I always considered as vital and influential powers for Cyprus.
Grow up, say a prayer for me...
By the way, I drink a bottle of red every night, I start work by 6.30 am and finish at 6 pm, I do this 6 days a week, on my day off I drink two bottles, lunch and dinner. Tomorrow I shall be in Cyprus, care to meet me for a ...glass of red, you may learn something from this here old boy !!
