At my last trip to London in 2011 I was shocked at seeing entire streets looking like little Baghdad or some other oriental theme!

Is this what their so-called “War on terror” was all about all these years?

I'd like to know the actual figures of these war-displaced people and how many of them make it to the UK. What proportion of the population? Because I suspect very few Afghans, Syrians, Libyans etc make it into the UK. Maybe a few seriously rich families have managed to buy their way in. But UK has a "Go Home" policy and an aggressive attack going, unmatched by anyone else (especially now GD have been silenced.)

For sure UK has a huge Muslim population (still not as large as that of Cyprus, though) - but a lot of these people are from the breakdown of the Empire - Pakistanis, Africans etc. It's these disaffected second and third generation unemployed youths who are getting tempted by the 'home-grown' terrorist movements - 7/7 for example as B25 points out.

But there's no doubt, these wars have caused a demographic mess in other more 'innocent' countries.

The worst place I have seen for non-integrated / recent-arrival Muslims was Lyon, then Helsinki. I think Limassol is pretty bad too and of course, Greece has one of the biggest shares!
