SS songs and antisemitism: the week Golden Dawn turned openly Nazi
Supporters of the far-right party gave Hitler salutes and sang the Horst Wessel song outside parliament.
It's the singing that did it.
Otherwise I understand recently one GD leader praised two of the 20th century's mass murderers, Hitler and Stalin, as being great personalities.

Like you, that journalist has been discredited many times - which is probably why the Comments from the readers have been disabled. I think she still works from Istanbul. The degree of subjectivity she displays, the extreme exaggeration, as well as bending of reality (as knowledgeable commentators who happened to be in situations she reported about, have corrected) makes the Left look really desperate to win ground. Which is a shame she has chosen such a time when Greece is looking like the most moderate EU country as far as political extremism goes.
I would be more worried about the huge surge in UKIP's POWER in the UK. The unchallenged racism simply oozes around the UK....
Trojan horses, ney ney.

I see since I complained that they didn't allow comments (since being published yesterday, 7th June, 21:14) they have this morning opened the comments section (first stupid post, 8th June, 9:36am). I'll say this for the Guardian - they try to portray fairness.
Let's see how many Brit commentators continue to turn a blind eye to the growing far-right racist extremism sweeping their Parliament and MEP representations (now UKIP being the strongest racist-representatives in the EU, not to mention the anti-EU Conservatives).
as far as I can see there are regular comments in the UK press about the UKIP and its racism,if not outright lunatic fringe, so one cannot say that a blind eye is being turned.GreekIslandGirl wrote:GreekIslandGirl wrote:supporttheunderdog wrote:http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jun/07/greece-golden-dawn-fascism-threat-to-democracy
