Janet Horne was burnt at the stake in Scotland in 1727 for witchcraft, the last person to be executed for witchcraft in the UK. A lot can change in three centuries.

Women also in the UK did not get the vote until about 100 years ago. Londoners also used to take their children to the Zoo as well as live cats to feed the animals.

Were the children also live? Or would they kill them first?

Apparently the SAVAGE who set fire to his daughter had caught her talking ON THE PHONE to her " arranged fiancé. The savage was 35 years old !!
This comes a month after a bride was found dead in her bridal bed on her wedding night as a result of a haemorrhage.
She was 8 years old !
