In fact his father is so pale, I think he needs sunlight so he doesn't look like a Scotsman of the west coast. !! His mother was pale, his father dark. It means NOWT.
I've read some twaddle in my life but really.... It's blatantly obvious Maria bears no resemblance to her Roma parents, but that in Ireland is a grave unfortunate mistake. My son looks nowt like me, or my eldest son whatsoever. Many many people have commented on his colouring if his father isn't present with us. Me and the eldest look of Nordic descent, the youngest is quite obviously not.
Just because someone doesn't look similar doesn't always mean they aren't related. Whatever next....carry your kids birth certificate with you at all times to prove they are yours??
Birth certificates can be forged. Your DNA match is your only comeback.
As I said to stpier, it's more than just skin colour. I'm sure between the two parents, you and hubby, there will be
some similar features to each of your sons. In the unknown situation, what the Greek Police cleverly did was weigh up
a number of factors, which the Irish Police probably failed to consider. Neither Romani parent looked at all like the child, not just in colouration but predominant facial characteristics. Then they asked for personal details; which they assessed as contradictory. Then they checked birth certificates which again were iffy. And finally did a DNA test which was conclusive. Brilliant. Tempered. Sensible and sensitive. Their procedure should become a
blueprint for other forces to follow - before we end up with some crazy witch-hunts from the more racist countries.
