If you’re Cypriot then why the fuck should you care about Greece or Turkey anyway? :?

I don’t! They can blow each other to smithereens for all I care...

GR, he is a mainland Turd. He is not Cypriot nor have any affiliation with Cyprus. He is a nationalistic prick, here to preach shit to us.

As a south Cypriot, can you say you don't give a shit about Greece? Do you condemn Greece's repression of its minorities as a world citizen? Do you hate Greece for the coup that led to the Turkish peace operation? Your reply will determine your level of nationalistic prickness.

What Turkish peace operation? it was a fucking invasion, and btw I condemn what big Mak called the Greek Invasion aka the Greek Junta inspired coup too,. And yes i suspect that as Cypriot GR will express strong anti Greek views....and if we are looking at historical events in an attempt to divert attention away from the modern barbarity of the Erdogan Regime let us not forget the barbarity of the Turks to the Kurds over many decades AND WHICH IS STILL HAPPENING... pots and kettles at best,,,

I do hate Greece but I'm also starting to hate you!

I happen to be a refugee... and my house is one of those flattened by a Turkish bulldozer to build an airport. Every time you drive and park there to catch a flight you may well be parked right in my bedroom, living room, or kitchen where I have my childhood memories and I don't appreciate that.

And you calling this flattening of my childhood memories an operation of peace makes me want to give you a piece of something you won't appreciate...

Thousands of Turkish lives were saved as a result of that intervention so a peace operation for us as it ended a conflict that could have a worse outcome especially for Turks. And you would be living under the Greek flag now if that intervention never took place.

Peace operation??

Your choice of words, show you up to be an insensitive twat when GR has to convey such personal feeling publically.

I'm sick of hearing 'minority' at the moment. Frickin minority my ARSE!

Turks are not a minority in Cyp. They are equal partners.

It is not MY choice of words, it is the English translation of how the incident is called in Turkish: Kıbrıs Barış Harekatı
I have nothing against GR, he seems to be a good guy.

I would call it a “peace operation” had Turkey abided by what she signed:

CYPRUS-TREATY OF GUARANTEE (A portion of ARTICLE IV)

”In so far as common or concerted action may not prove possible, each of the three guaranteeing Powers reserves the right to take action with the sole aim of reestablishing the state of affairs created by the present Treaty.”

but alas…

Therefore it was NOT a peace operation but a deliberate violation of agreements with the sole aim of territorial expansion and the expulsion of native inhabitants.
