...and what should Greece do to a little finger wagging; start WWIII, and get the blame for that?

incidences like this, probably happen weekly, (if not daily), if you consider how Turkey wages this 'Cold War' she has with Greece, illegal immigrants and all...

It says the Turkish shit circulated around Andros. Demonax's article says the Israelis were navigating/flying around Andros during the joint military exercises with the Hellenic Forces. If it's the same island of Andros, perhaps the Turks were feeling left out.

Give them an inch, they'll take a foot. If they think you are afraid to do anything they will crap all over you. Greece should have responded by sending the appropriate ships to see them off. Perhaps the Turds were just testing defences, now they know, there are none. Basic rules of the jungle eat or be eaten, pure and simple.

I agree with B25.

Turkey does this because they know Greece does not have the political will to act.

Even mere warnings and shots across the bow will result in a hasty Turkish retreat.

...it may be humiliating for Greece to bide her time, and to choose the fights she gets into.

all of this is costly, and Turkey at this moment is run by a maniac spoiling to spend billions...

...in fact, as Cold Wars go, it is possible that Turkey is on her way to a fall, without Greece spending reciprocally.

Greece can't affird to not spend Billions and play its part in this Cold War.

Greece must get back on its feet quickly and it must not allow Turkey free reign. If you do, the Turks will become more and more daring.

They can't come into Greek Territorial Waters without answer or confrontation. They will just continue to come, whereas if Greece enforced its naritime borders then it is not quite that easy for Turkey.
